Becky Fuller (Rachel McAdams) is working as a television producer in New Jersey and is a real workaholic. Suddenly she gets fired, and her working life is like her love life – really bad. Based on a coincidence she gets a job offer in New York, but this job was harder than she thought. As manageress of the morning magazine “Daybreak” her first job is to get a new co-moderator for Collen Peck (Diane Keaton). But unfortunately Becky hires the ex war correspondent Mike Pomeroy (Harrison Ford). Mike don’t like they what the show reports.
